Moto X+1 or G3

How 'bout some opinions on this? Have an upgrade in September.

You might have to wait alittle while since it is only rumored that Verizon with get the Moto X+1 on Sept. 25.

Yeah, we still know nothing about the X+1. There are leaks and rumors, but that's all they are. Personally I'd still take the X (last year's) over the G3, so I'd obviously get the updated model

I was debating the X+1, the S5, and the G3. Kind of waiting to see how the X+1 reviews and if the camera is decent.

Considered the S5 but the charging cover problems turned me off. Really like the G3 but if the x+1 has a 5.2 screen then I may just bite.

I find 5.5" to be way too big to be able to use the device with one hand. If X+1 has some nice features (like X had) + moto is pretty cool with fast updates... I'd go with X+1

Why not just remove the charging port cover?

Considered the S5 but the charging cover problems turned me off. Really like the G3 but if the x+1 has a 5.2 screen then I may just bite.

Because then it isn't water proof.

He/she has issues​ with the "charging cover problems", whatever ​they may be. I, and others, simply remove the PITA port cover. Also, the S5 isn't "Waterproof"; it's "Water Resistant". Big difference.

Battery is a little low, but other than that the specs are on par or close to the G3. The biggest disappointment for me is the design of the phone, but I wouldn't get the G3 over it just because of that.
