Not Perfect Distance

It's been 3 weeks since I started playing Pokemon go but now it's now showing some problems.
Even the pokemon is near me and showing on map but the nearby box still shows it's far away. This happens also when walking.
Tried restarting, changing network and logging out.

It's not only you, it's an official bug, they are working on fix. It's been like that for about 2 days almost I think.
