Unzip and unrar directly through gmail

I'm a huge fan of all things Google and am looking for reasons to get this and hope my laptop would break down everyday so I can justify getting the Chromebook. Here's another reason: Google figured out a way to unzip and unrar files through Gmail. What's left before this device can be a everywhere/everytask device?
