Galaxy Ace 2 Replacement - Won't download apps

I just got my replacement phone about and hour ago. Have charged it etc, gone to install the usual like Facebook, Instagram etc. to find that it will not actually download anything. When in the Play Store, it says 'Installing' but doesn't actually do anything. Any ideas?

I go on holiday tomorrow, so getting yet another replacement isn't an option.
