Why doesn't my Personal Profile save?

"Personal Profile" never saves!

My personal info, or "My Local Profile" as my phone (Samsung Galaxy Alpha) calls it, doesn't seem to be able to save? Every single time my phone shuts down
/restarts for any reason, I have to re enter it. This is really only annoying for text messaging because it deletes my picture. Does anybody know why the phone does this or how to stop it in the future?

Yup!! Happens to me too and it so annoying! When you turn on your airplane mode it happens too. What a shame because I really like the Messaging app... So I installes google messager instead.

If you update it to latest version which is the lollipop it should fix it. But what I did was, go to play store and uninstall the update for google plus. Once you done it log in to your google plus account that you want to show as your phone profile. It will ask you to " keep your contacts up to date" and will have that option checked. And that should fix it.
