Brightness setting-problem

Need help . Grandson played on it , now it's dim .went in to settings , display , briteness will not click on ...help

Hello,

You mentioned going into Settings/Display, did you check to make sure " AUTO " was checked? If your grandson changed the brightness to a low setting then it will remain dim/bright, where ever it was set to.

You should also check the Battery Saving options. I believe there's a setting there for brightness, too, but I'm not sure.

Found the problem . Never noticed the % of battery . Was down to 2% . Plugged in and everything is fine

Hehehe That was my next suggestion, but never thought of it until now Yeah, if your tablet goes below 5% (I think), the darkness sets in. Awful when you're trying to view the last two minutes of your favorite show
