SD card not getting formatted and not getting detected on Galaxy Note 2
Hi.. I read about this but could not find the right thread for a Note 2. But i have a Galaxy Note 2 since a year with a San disk 16GB sd card on it. Its been about a month that suddenly i got this message saying Blank SD card or sometimes files not supported. I was prompted to format it on the phone and i tried but it could never get formatted, i always got the error as Blank SD card.
I connected the card to the system for formatting and the size was detected as 30.6MB which is not true though. After all the goggling i somehow managed to format the SD card with both NFTS and also FAT format but neither of them seem to help. After formatting if i connect the card to the system it gets detected and can be opened to check files.
The minute i put it back on the phone again the story repeats.
Can there be any solution to this other than using a new SD card or a new phone. Because its only been a year since i bought either of them :-(
