Saving videos with scrapbook

Hello all! I'm a newbie here but no stranger to technology. I have the Verizon Note 3 and can't save videos using scrapbook. I've went to youtube and Google and still can't figure it out. All it does is save it as a screen shot. I've done it while the video is paused and playing. Idk....help.

That's because first you need to click the Pen while hovering over the screen, then select scrapbooker, then draw a circle around the video. Then select the right folder you want it in. I'm guessing what you're doing is drawing a circle around the video without first selecting scrapbooker. You can't do it like that.

Nope just tried it again. Opened scrapbook with S pen and drew a circle. The video was playing.

The youtube video saving functionality in scrapbook was broken by the most recent youtube update. You have to remove the updates and go back to the stock youtube app. Then everything will work.

Samsung put a video on YouTube showing that youtube videos could be saved with scrapbook. Can I also send them via sms? Haven't tried that yet...

Yeah im having the same issue but how do you remove the youtube update?

Go into applications manager, youtube & you will see a place to click to remove updates

Go to Settings>Application Settings then scroll down to youtube then uninstall update.

Everyone....no need to uninstall the YouTube update. To add to scrapbook just go to the share icon of the video and pick scrapbook. It will then be saved into scrapbook as intended and be able to play within the scrapbook too.

Spent hours last night trying to get my YouTube to let me save my videos to my scrapbook and watched a couple videos on how to do it and still didn't work!! Then followed Reesh11's simple instructions and it works like a gem! Thanks!!

Llfloyd is right. Why uninstall the update when it can be done his way. And it's easier in my opinion.

Indeed you can use the share button but I don't mind uninstalling updates. Didn't see a major change from before :/
