Anyone who is getting 5 or 6 hours of screen on time on a single charge (through a full day not just 6 hours right after you unplug):
1. do you have google now on? And if you do what about the voice activation for google now?
2. Do you have your phone connected to a smart watch via Bluetooth 24/7
3. Do you have google back up turned on? ("Backup and restore" option in settings)
4. Do you have "scanning always available" and "auto network switch" turned on (WiFi settings)
5. Do you have LTE connection on or do you restrict it to only hspa+/gsm

I know this is very long but it would help me a lot 😊

Edit: currently I'm at
1.yes, voice off
2.yes
3.yes
4.no
5.LTE on

4. No and No
5. Yes to LTE - though occasionally if I know I'm going to be at home for the rest of the evening then I will turn data off. Generally it's always on.

I'm seeing some interesting answers here, but most consistent seems to be that you're not connected to a smartwatch. Since I am connected to a smartwatch 24/7, I think that might be the reason why I'm not able to hit that 5 hour mark with my screen on time.

Well to be honest my battery life isn't much different to when it's not connected

well it should be, bluetooth being kept on has to have some impact on your battery life.

This is another reason why smartwatch sux IMHO, it not only has a horrendous battery itself, it also drags down your phone's battery...... lol

Re: question for people getting 5/6+ hours screen on time

By some weird conicedence my gear 2 strap broke yesterday, so I left it at home and turned off Bluetooth, but I really didn't notice any difference in battery. I guess being connect to a smartwatch really doesn't cause much of a drain

1. Yes very recently (new udp), have not turned voice off, so don't know if it's on (genius at work)
2. No.
3. Not Google + (disabled). Gallery pics not synced.
4. Scan always: on when I need maps or Now to work out travel otherwise off (does it switch along with Location?)
Auto network switch, used to leave on, but now I have 4G and udp I often turn it off as wifi if not at home is carp on this device.
5.LTE on, but I really think I am getting a glorified 3G+ on 800 only.
New Moto G 4G I have on a better carrier (both 1 month sim plans) so I will switch my Note 3 to this next month. Neither phone shows LTE, only 4G, when available.

(Man I still know really nothing about this phone).
