I noticed something with my new Note 3. I was on the phone with my significant other, and the phone was not on speaker phone. Needless to say we fell asleep, and the phones were still connected. However 6 hours later I woke up to the speaker phone hearing her try to wake me up. Does the phone put it on speaker when I'm not near the device, and someone is trying to get my attention?

Haha. Nope, sadly, it doesn't. I'm afraid you either picked up unconsciously or with a wave gesture (if you wave your hand to pick up the call it does so via speakerphone) or something like that.

Or maybe your GF set up your alarm with a recording of her trying to wake you up
