How can I protect my android (Galaxy note 3) from being hacked ?

It seems someone is reading through my WhatsApp and text messages and its being going on from long time. I'm 100% sure that no one can access my mobile physically and even after factory reset I can see again my phone is being hacked.
I would appreciate if anyone can help me through in detecting any suspicious app. I have already seen install apps and was not able to identify any suspicious file.

How do you know they are reading? Maybe they are hacked on to your account and not the phone?
