Note 5 Video transfer fail from Phone to PC

Attempting to transfer videos from my Note 5 to the pc, starts copying but a few moments later displays an error message that the device is disconnected. I dont know hwy it does that. Anyone know of this problem?

The cable that I am using was bought from Amazon and it is an authentic charger from Samsung. However, it is a little longer than the standard charger. It does has fast charging as well.

Anything will help. I cannot have a lot of files on my phone because i am limited on memory 64gb. I wanted to clean it up.

1. When the phone is connected to the computer, the charger shouldn't be connected to the phone. You should be using a plain USB cable. (USB cables can be up to 5 meters [16 feet 5 inches] with no problem.)

2. If you're using a USB hub, connect the phone directly to the computer. Some hubs can't handle sustained file transfers.

I would try the cable that came with the phone
