On my Note 5, I use Outlook.com email. But, I have my account configured on the device, as Exchange.
I also have the Outlook app, but, that it for Work. Since I wanted a total separation of the two, I did it this way.

Well, my issue is, with the default builtin email client, I can't stand all the 'white'. Why is there no option for a 'dark' theme, or to merely make the app darker? Most annoying. Often it is difficult to tell read emails, from unread.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

Have you tried the material dark theme from the theme store? It will theme the email app and most system apps.

If you don't like the default look, I would check the theme store for samsung. The themes change the appearance of the core apps like email.

The themes in the Theme Store do change the menu colors but not the main section. Here's how mine looks with a dark blue theme installed.

I have the paid AquaMail app and it has 2 dark options: dark with light messages and dark with dark messages. Dark means black in both.
