Note 5 update issues.

My note 5 did a software update, forced might I add, and now it won't let text messages pop up in my car and read them anymore. It was working fine before the update and I already got a warranty replacement from AT&T last week and it's the same thing. Something with the new update screwed it up. Is there any way to fix this? I will add that if I go through a few screens on the radio I can find the text and click it to read, the car reads them aloud but doesnt display them, but it doesn't pop up automatically and read them anymore. It has android version 6.0.1
