Hey folks,
Woke up to a nice surprise this morning, after having the usual "already up-to-date" message as recently as 2 days ago. KitKat 4.4.2 has finally been released -- at the very least -- to the Canadian, Telus-branded Note 8.0 i467 LTE.
So far everything seems to be working properly, but as is typical with major OS updates the tablet is a bit sluggish while things sort themselves out. i.e. transitions during opening/switching apps are taking up to a few seconds at a time... Already performing better after the first reboot. I'll keep an eye on things over the next few days and see how everything goes -- One thing in particular I'm hoping for is better battery life; but more importantly, I haven't had enough playtime with it to see whether the particularly annoying random freezes have gone away.
Anyone else get the update on their i467/LTE units? How's it going for yours so far?
