unable to update custom rom cm 12.1 on gt-n5110 samsung note 8.0. please help.

unable to install the latest build available in the cyanogen update directly downloaded from the site. currently have 4.4.2 samsung galaxy note 8 gt-n5110. Please help. Initially I got status 7 error, after searching for the error, edited the file till the status message removed all the code before that and tried again.

Got the installation aborted error without the status 7 message. Please find the picture attached with the error. I have rooted the phone, installed recovery and downloaded the latest rom from Download: cm-12.1-20151117-SNAPSHOT-YOG7DAO1K2-n5100.zip (231.04 MB) . Please help. appreciate it.

I have one more doubt, do I need to install the latest release from cyanogen mod page or the latest nightly build. Which is safer to download ?

Can anyone please help me with the update script of this rom to proceed further with my lollipop upgrade on my samsung gt-n5100. I believe there is some problem with the update script of the rom.

Thanks

1. The stable version is always safest.

2. Ask for assistance on CyanogenMod Forum. They wrote the installer and the ROM, so they know it better than anyone else.

I download the nightly around every other month or so... never had a problem.
Although it will not update automaticly, I have to do it manually.
