Can anyone suggests cases or screen protectors for the Samsung Note Edge

Hi all,

I have just pre-ordered a Samsung Note Edge and looking through the web (ebay, Amazon) I cant find any cases/covers or screen protectors from this phone (except for the samsung original cover).

Hopefully someone will be able to point me in the right direction.

I am hoping that carriers will have accessories for it as well. the only problem with anything limited production is limited accessories.

^ I agree..normally in the past any phone I have bought have numerous options but am struggling to find any accessories for the Edge. Looks like if all else fail I will have to go with the samsung genuine case.

Samsung have come out with flip cover which will partially cover the screen exposing the edge screen. I'm definitely going to get that.

There's no doubt our selection of accessories will be limited on a low production device.
It just won't be worthwhile for mfgs to sink money into such a small demographic for a form factor that is not ordinary.
But that is part of the price of admission and really should be understood by Edge owners going in.
My guess is that we may be stuck with AT&T's typical offerings and a few cheap molded units, just like it was during the first 6 months of the Note 1. I did see an inactive AT&T webpage pull that shows 3 cases. The Samsung flip cover, a Case-Mate Folio design and an Incipio shell type. I think I may do the Sammy flip cover but want to see the others first. Hopefully they offer them all on release day

Yeah.. cases are hard to find for the Galaxy Note Edge...

Since I'm waiting on VZW to release some info.. -_- (I know.. it's unrealistic), I started asking around manufacturers for cases. I did get a reply from Spigen and they said that they have no plans on making a case..

Sigh.. I was really hoping that they would.

Bought this fosman tpu case online in preparation for the Edge.

As you can clearly see, the edge side will not be protected at all.

Is this going to be an issue regarding drop protection on that side?

Uhhh-Ohhh.... I looked online and so far have NOT found a TPU rubber case that has CUT-OUTS for the power button! Has anyone found such a case? I do not like and won't use a case without the cutouts.

Here are some I have found. I've also got a Note Edge recently but have found that it's easily scratched.

A member on another thread stated that Ghost Armor has a case specific for our phone. I charged over to the site and they do make a case specific to the Edge for about 50 bucks. It seems reasonable and its 50 bucks cheaper than the Otterbox Armor case I paid for for my Galaxy SIII. If you get the chance check em out.

The Ghost Armor is not a case. It is wrap style protection. It covers the screen or screen and sides. They even have a full body kit. I have used Ghost Armor since my Win Mobile 5 days.

I have a UAG Aero on my Note 3 and it is the best case I have ever owned.

Thanks for pointing out UAG is making one for this phone, they are one of my favorite case manufacturers so I'll definitely order one from them.

I stopped into my store for the Invisishield screen protector and they had the Case-Mate Pop Case. It looked really sharp, so I exchanged my flip case for it. Between the case and screen protector, it feels as protected as all of my phones have. Here's a couple of pics for those wondering how the Edge looks on the case. Excuse the background of my cnc shop, not really conducive to great photography!

I concur. I have the case mate pop too and so far it is great.

Hope you guys all had a great Christmas. So a couple days ago I got the official Samsung flip case as a bday/Xmas gift. The one that replaces the back cover. It was a pricey $50 for not as much protection as other cases offered. At first I didn't really like it and was thinking about returning it. Although after a couple days with it I must admit it has grown on me. The case might not be leather but it feels like a quality case. Holding the phone with it feels great and makes it look really nice. That being said I decided to keep it. I was debating on the uag case or this case. For anyone looking it's like looks vs protection really. I chose looks and think this looks way better than the uag personally.
