galaxy note sunlight issues

Does anyone know how to adjust the settings so i can see the screen in sunlight.at the moment all i can see is a black screen.any ideas would be appreciated .thanks.

I would think that if you set the brightness to "Auto" you would get the best visibility in sunlight. However, bear in mide that AMOLED screens don't do as well in sunlight as LCD.

Its already set on auto and cant see anything in sunlight.must'nt be sunny were these are made otherwise somebody might have noticed.
