Jelly Bean Slow :-(

Looks like 4.1.2 is sluggish and slower than 4.0 ICS.... anyone experiencing this?
Maybe it requires more processing power (ie: S3/S4).....seriously thinking about downgrading to 4.0 :-(

Nope, not facing any slow down in jelly bean. Have you reset your phone after the upgrade? If not then try to do a factory reset. Hopefully your problem will be fixed.

Did not try the reset, however I have read about other users trying this with no improvement.
I saw a few videos on S2 benchmarks, ICS running faster than JB.
I'll have a go disabling touchwiz transitions

I performed a factory reset (reluctantly) and it has made a big difference to my speed. I am told the reason for this is after a firmware upgrade your phone still retains all your old settings including any bugs your phone may have. Performing a factory reset (after backing up first with Keis) wipes out all previous software and any bugs you might have had. Anyway it has made a big difference to my phones speed. Good luck!

Sounds like you have a Galaxy S3, and of so, there lies your problem. Get a Nexus 4 and you'll see how fast Jelly Bean really is.
