Malware? My browser has been blocked by virus

Internet explorer has a notice to pay "National Security Agency" money to unblock browser. I know it is virus or malware or whatever you call it. How do I get around it and make my internet operable again?

I've found that Googling the exact phrasing of the message you're getting will often lead to forums where people are discussing that particular malware and solutions for removing it.

You could try something like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware http://market.android.com/details?id=org.malwarebytes.antimalware - and stop downloading questionable apps.
