In-call sounds

I would like to disable in-call (touch tone) sounds on my S4 (AT&T, USA).

For example, to join a teleconference I first dial the 10-digit (US) number and eventually my call is connected. Now, I need to enter a meeting code. For example, the telecon service phone number below is 408-555-1212 and "12345678" is the meeting code (";" is the "wait" code on the S4 and "#" is the "enter" code for my telecon service): 408-555-1212;12345678#

My S4 will ask me if I wish to send "12345678#" and then I select "Yes".

What follows is one of the most annoying sounds I have heard since fingernails down a chalkboard.

I would like to disable those sounds. Thanks for your help.

Note: I have already turned off "Ringtones and keypad tones -> Keypad tones" on my S4.

Regards, Shane

Note: I am checking with our telecon service to see if that service is echoing the tones.
Note2: I did not have this problem with our telecon service with my old S2.

I'd like to know the answer to this as well. Samsung level 2 tech support said that it was either Jelly Bean 4.2.2 or Touchwiz on the S4. This does not happen on a Google nexus with 4.2.2 (it plays the normal touch tones when pressing the kepad or sending number strings when in call). So it has to be the Touchwiz implementation on top of Jelly bean 4.2.2 on the S4.
