Pretty sweet. As stated Samsung has announced that they will be giving one million free copies of Jay-Zs new album away to Samsung Galaxy smartphone owners 72 hours in advance . What do you guys think? Pretty cool. Now we just need to figure put how to get in on this!

I know I ask the same question but the simple answer. If he's making music videos and showing up at big events sporting his S4/Note II or any Samsung product its a win for Samsung. Not to mention put him in a Samsung commercial and he will catch the eye of those who love his style of music.

Its all advertising and promotion, just like pro athletes you put their name/face on the side of a product and its going to sell more simply because they are marketing it.

Rap Mogul partnerships with Samsung to give away free albums, would probably make people (Hip Hop fans mostly) buy the phone
But most people may illegally download the album anyways
