Mhl cable

Would this mhl cable work with the normal Samsung galaxy s4? I have a google edition and I am curious if it will work. I want to get it at a local store so I can return it if it doesn't work.

Nope, that doesn't look compatible. It says It supports the s2, but the MHL cables for the s2 and s3 are different. Normal MHL cables are 5 pin, but the MHL cables for the s3 up are 11 pin and require power. I'd suggest just getting the official samsung accessory, or if you buy a third party cable make sure they say it specifically works with the S4.

Ok thanks. Frys doesn't have the most up to date website so I wasn't sure if they just weren't listing the S4 due to being out of date or because it was different than the S4 cable.
