Cpu overheating!! Constantly around 60 degrees celcius and even reaching 70degrees sometimes.

Running android 5.0. I recently bought a new battery,factory resetted and even unrooted due to overheating fears. Phone constantly feel hot and im really afraid. Pls help me out guys

Welcome to Android Central! If you have an SD card inserted, unmount (in Settings>Storage), remove it, and reboot. A corrupt file on the card could cause excess CPU usage by making the Media Scanner get stuck. Try these things
1.download apps such as battery doctor, cm battery and clean master, not only do they help optimize your phone, but they also help overheating of the phone I.e closing over used applications.

2. Root your phone and try using an app called coolify. It simply cools down your phones temperature. Also reduces phone temp even more when phone is rooted.

3. Try to close apps, do not leave them running the background.
4. Try adjusting screen to auto.
If the issue is still occurring , leave a message.

Thanks for the input, but I wouldn't recommend closing apps habitually, since the system will just want to reopen them again to fill up RAM. If this is done regularly, it will contribute to more battery drain. Only close an app if you think it's misbehaving.
