Sm-G900W8 Boot loop after root

used Odin and proper cf-auto tar.md5 but after it says PASS it just goes tto galaxy S5 load screen sits there for 5 seconds goes black for 1 second and comes back tot he s5 screen.

Anyone know what I can do to un brick this?

Try wiping the cache partition in Recovery Mode as per #1.3 of 41 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide

Yes you can download the stock Samsung firmware for your phone model, CSC and Product codes and flash it via Odin, to return to stock unrooted. Did you use the latest CF-Auto-Root kernel for your model of phone, here.

In that case, re-download it again and repeat the Odin flash in case your download was corrupt. If that fails, re-flash the stock firmware to get you up and running again.

I did redownload a coupel times still not working. So now im downloading from sammobile 2.4gb. almost done. so I just follow the same steps with the sam mobile file right?

i screwed up my recovery option by selecting nand and erase all on the 10th time I was doing it. So now all I have access to is download mode.

installed the original file via odin and it worked it factory again! woot!

now how do i root lol if it didnt work the first time 4 hours ago it probably wont work again now. running 5.1.1

wait i dont get step 3

it says GO TO TWRP and CWP AND FLASH both. cwp doesn't make for my phone and TWRP requires root to work.

where do i put the kernal and the supersu in the phone? any specific spots?

got twrp working via odin but i unzipped the kernal and the supersu so im screwed here. gotta reflash the original os then put the zip files in. I can't believe it needs zip files to work.

GOT IT TO WORK! tried once more in the morning. Rooted and got the hub working. now if i update to marshmellow one day do i lose priv stuff and lose my root?

As you are rooted, you will no longer receive updates OTA or via Kiies/Smart Switch. You will need to manually download and flash any future stock firmware updates. This will un-root you.

Any chance you can walk me through this, i went an used odin with CF Auto root and i am also stuck in a reboot sequences, boot loop. I tried clearing cache and resting to default via recovery menu but no luck. Currently downloading a slow file to flash back to original.

From what i can see we don't need to use odin, just original samsunsg then use TWRP or CWM to install the two zip files?

I Need help when u installed the custom recovery TWRP and drag the files to ur sd or where ever did u install both the zips through TWRP i keep getting the stupid boot loop....

That would be correct. Be sure to select 'wipe' and slide to factory reset. Then install the rom zip followed by the gapps zip. When that's done just reboot.
