I am trying to root my GS5, have tried many options as discussed. Here is my setup.

Model: SM - G900T
Android version: 6.0.1
Baseband: G900TUVS1GPG2
Build: MMB29M.G900TUVS1GPG2
Last security patch was 7/1/16
USB debugging allowed
Download from unknown sources on.
Using Odin 3.10.6

I Have tried numerous CF Root locations but I keep getting hung up at the SEANDRIOD ENFORCING screen.

I have flashed the matching Op Sys. per the table below, and tried the appropriate root listed but still get hung up. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome to Android Central jdubasis!

You appear to be using the correct CF-Auto-Root kernel for your model of phone, G900T, and firmware, PG2. After flashing, if your phone does not boot up, try wiping the phone's cache partition in recovery mode. You may need to remove and replace the battery to turn your phone off and then wipe as per the video...

Thanks for the reply.

I wiped the partition and tried the root again, but it still gets stuck at the SEANDROID ENFORCING. Do you have any other advice? I'm about ready to give up.

Is it saying, "PASS", or, "RESET", in the Odin window? This is a video demonstrating the process...

Have you disabled the Reactivation lock that on the phone?
Hey Ironass,
I really appreciate all of your help. I finally got it rooted. After many attempts, and re-flashing firmware a dozen times, I found a working SuperSU.zip in which to install via Philz. The others had my phone stuck at Samsung screen at reboot. Had to just keep flashing firmware and trying new zips til I found one that worked. Ended up using Philz 6.41.6 and SuperSU v2.76. Thanks for all your help, you are the best.
