I think the real question is whether it will remain so or whether it will find its way to the West. I'm betting the latter which is a real slap in the face to all of us.

No it does not have aluminum backing for the LTE-A variant of the S5 (which was supposed to be the S5 Prime), it has a plastic backing.

At this point, it's only exclusive to South Korea, who knows when if it will come out in the Europe, as I'm sure that even the S4 LTE-A came to Europe just months after the S4 LTE-A was released in Korea. Who knows if it will ever reach U.S and I doubt it will.
