Phone stuck at Android 5.0 from AT&T

My phone was given the 6.0.1 marshmallow update but for my brother he can't find any updates past 5.0, he also has the same Galaxy S5 from AT&T. Any ideas?

As per #1.6 of 42 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide the AT&T model of Galaxy S5, G900A, needs to be registered on the AT&T network with an AT&T sim card inserted. This is because the AT&T firmware is pushed out by them and not Samsung. Also bear in mind that unlike Samsung, the AT&T updates are rolled out slowly and in stages and can take several weeks to reach every customer. Unlike Samsung, AT&T do not make their firmware available to flash via Odin and so you will need to visit an AT&T store to get an update if one does not arrive OTA.
