S6 active global availability

Does anybody know if there are any plans for a global release of the S6 active? I'm in the UK and looking to upgrade, and the s6 active is what I'm looking for. Was the S5 active available in the UK? I wasn't living here at the time.

I know it's early days in its release.

I don't think it will be released there. If I recall correctly the Active is an exclusive model to the US only on AT&T.

Thanks. That's a shame. The S6 active makes a lot of sense to me. Maybe Samsung/British carriers will bring something out in the future.

They had the s5 active available for telus in Canada. Hoping the s6 active will follow suit.

Only problem is the S5 Active wasn't released in Canada (and elsewhere, I believe) until October last year. And there is no guarantee that it will even be released internationally again this year...
