Wi-Fi not working properly / Unstable connectivity

While connected to my home Wi-Fi, my S6 Edge keeps going in and out of data connection. At first I thought it was a particular app, but then realized the past few weeks that it's like the phone all of the sudden won't accept the data connection, and then apps say "No network connection" or something similar. After several minutes, the Wi-Fi connection works OK again, and apps load, etc.

I have 6 other devices on my home Wi-Fi which have no issues at all, and all speeds are high.

It's forcing me to turn off Wi-Fi to use my apps, which is no bueno. I'm running Andoird v 6.0.1. It seems to be related to this latest version, but I'm not sure what to do. I have done a full factory reset, and it doesn't seem to have changed anything related to Wi-Fi connectivity.

Maybe try booting up into Recovery Mode and wipe the system cache partition? That often helps clean up various issues after a system upgrade.

I have the same problem with my edge phone! My grandsons Iphone stays connected while mine goes on and off.
