I was looking for this option, too! Hopefully in a future software update, because the lights are really unnecessary.

I don't think carriers removed anything. I think AT&T took it upon themselves to add this function (and a few others) back in.

True. Guess we would need someone with the international version to confirm.

...does anyone feel that Samsung took too much away from TouchWiz?

I need more menus and toggles!

This isn't HTC for heaven's sake!

Feature request: Advanced Mode

I wish Samsung would slim Touchwiz more and also organize the menus a bit more.

Just wish I could turn off the capacitive button lights..the bride does not like them.

Dang, I actually think they look pretty cool. It's be cool to be able to change the color though. But I usually use power saving move anyway so it's a non issue.

Its not on the Verizon one either

Att here and I do have the option to turn lights off. That seems like a basic function off the handset. Why would a carrier want to remove this and why would Samsung even let them change basic functionality if their device? Just bizaar.

I really wish carriers stopped meddling and left the devices as the manufacturers built them. To include not installing carriers malware.
