Hi, I'm new to this forum. Found it when my new S6 randomly turned off and would not turn back on. Thanks to whomever posted to hold down all 4 buttons to reset the phone. Never had this problem with any of the other Galaxy models I've owned and I've just switched back to a Galaxy from having a Note 3. Question: has anyone else noticed their phone feels hot? It was really bad before I got my Otter Box case but seemed to get better... now noticing it's starting again.

Hi, you dont need to hold all 4 buttons to reset. Just press 2 buttons, the Volume Down and power button for 10 seconds.

There are common factors why the S6 gets hot in my experience:
1. With data connection ON, with poor reception
2. While fast charging
3. During long gaming and games that use extensive graphics
4. Heavy Applications which uses lot of Ram and CPU (Photo editing softwares, video softwares, autocad etc)
5. When theres hot environment and Screen on time is long with high brightness
You may Try Wiping Cache Partition by Turning off your phone. While turned off, press and hold, UP volume button, Power key and Home button.

This will bring you to a menu then select Wipe cache partition using your volume buttons to navigate up and down. Select using the power key.

Then Reboot system (also one of the choices) after wiping.

See if it will resolve your problem.
