Edge panel question (blocking)

I am not used to using my edge panel so perhaps there is a work around.

My issue is with the calender edge panel showing on my lock screen even though I have the calender blocked in the application settings.

I don't care that the other panels show, they don't have any sensitive information displayed.

Any thoughts?
