Ads on my 7 edge

Just recently picked up a 7 edge and I get a whole bunch of ads for things like uber, lyft, phone memory, ect in my notification section. I hate getting these. I opted out of the ads under my google acct but still get them. Any ideas as to what I can do to stop this?? Sorry if this has been posted before. Thx

Can you post a picture of the ads you're seeing? They must be coming from an app, especially if they're coming from the notification bar.
Have you installed any apps recently?

Any ads you see would be coming from a free app you installed. Free apps having varying ways of implementing ads to earn money.

If you long press on the notification, and select info, it will show you the app the notification comes from.
