Does anyone know if Apple holds a patent on making the front of their phones perfectly black?

this is a simple question but I'm unable to get find the answer on Google.

Does anyone know if Apple holds a patent on making the front of their phones perfectly black? I always envied how the black iPhone looked completely black in the front. however on the Galaxy there is always a different color for the screen and frame. it seems that samsung really tried to do the same thing as the iphone with the black onyx this time but it's still plainly obvious you can see the black screen from the frame. so I wonder if there is a design patent on this.

Honestly, I think the Black Onyx is the most incredible color I've seen on a piece of tech. They managed to make the Black look metallic and reflective and smoky at the same time. It's pretty awesome.
