need help cannot install any old apks on my galaxy s7 from old sd card

i don't know what to do i never had this problem before when i upgraded my r2d2 phone towards droid 4 phone

i got unknown sources turn oni have astro file manager install and also tried install es file manager

every apk file that i had from my droid 4 phone that was on sd card just not going to work on galaxy s7

what it does when i click on on an apk it saids no application found for this file type<-i'm clueless and don't know what to do i so need some help folks

It is mostly recommend to restore phone after phone upgrade (not update) , or your apk are not supported by your new upgrade , take a look in play store for those apps , and never run any of your old google apps in your new firmware

Try to copy the apk to internal memory first.

I have installed apks just fine on my s7 edge.

Try to download an app from Google play, then use Astro to backup the apk. Uninstall the app from Google play and see if you can install it from the internal memory.
