Can't send/receive SMS while on Wifi since I upgraded to Nougat 7.1.1

Ever since I upgraded the other week to 7.1.1

I have to turn off WiFi to text back and forth with people.

I am constantly getting the "Message not Downloaded" when receiving, or "Message failed to send" when sending.

Also using Google Messaging. I have enabled RCS (Aka, 'Enhanced Services').
Sprint.

Never saw this before I upgraded. What's going on? APN settings? (I'm not too familiar with those).

This issue would definitely cause me some stress - I'm sorry you are going through this!

Not sure if this will help or not, but try turning all of your network connections off and then on again. When I was having SMS issues years back, doing this would sometimes kick-start my SMS app.

You can reset just the network settings within the Settings/Backup section. That may help
