Problem with receiving calls

Hey everyone. I am Swapnil from India. I bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 in June 2012. Has been working fine since then but lately I am not able to receive any calls. I can see that there is an incoming call, but when I drag the Green button to receive the call, it vibrates a bit but the call is not received and the screen still shows the incoming call notification by muting the call. On the other end, when I try to reject an incoming call by dragging the red button, the call is rejected fine. Also when I call someone, the other person is not able to hear me, whereas I can hear him perfectly. There are some other times when I can receive the call without any issues.

I forgot to mention that I rooted my phone around 2 months back. I haven't installed custom ROM.

You can set the home button to answer the call instead of swiping and the power button to reject calls
