Why am I unable to charge my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 inch?

Problem charging my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 inch.

I stop using my Tab 2 a while back and when now I decided to reuse it again, I can't seem to get it to charge, there isn't any android logo or battery logo showing on screen. Please advise what can I do to get it charging again. Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! If the battery was close to dead when you last used it, and if it's been months since you used it, then the battery might have completely discharged, which is death for a lithium battery.

You could try plugging it into a wall outlet and letting it sit undisturbed for a good 10-12 hours. Then try powering on again. If it doesn't turn on, then the battery is probably dead.

Great! In the future, if you ever think you're going to leave a device unused for a while, make sure it's charged to at least 50-60%.
