Tab 3 8.0 Help

hi all

my partner went out and bought one of these today for a holiday we are off on next week, now she currently has a samsung s4 my question is can i get all the apps she has on the s4 onto the tab 3 easy ? i now i could go onto te play store and search and download them all again, but some she has paid for does this mean she will have to pay again to have them on the new tab 3 ?

and the other question is will the tab 3 ever have the new kitkat software ?

Samsung says GT 3 8.0 will get KitKat. See 5th paragraph of this article.
