Galaxy tab s 8.4 pixelation/cloud effect when watching dark scenes(movies)

Godzilla trailer on YouTube is good To test it on... but i already tested it With a 10.5 tab s and had nog problems at all so im more curious about other 8.4 tab s tablets thnx anyway though

I have the exact same problem with my tab s 8.4. Noticed it first watching Godzilla from Google Play Film, but the youtube trailer gives the same effect. Figured anything yet? Did you have to change your device?

Have any of you tried the same movie on another 8.4 tablet? I do find it curious that you're both seeing the defect, apparently, using the same movie.

sucks man i think every 8.4 has this problem... i went back to the store (The Netherlands) and believe it or not they said well we can't see the problem(because of all the lights in the store -.-) which i also was trying to explain... made screenshots and everything but it's like lightbleed you will only see it in a dark room and then they said well we don't feel like watching a 3 hour movie on your tablet to try and find the problem -__- and then they offered to send my tablet to samsung or something but i really didn't feel like doing that because i've done that in the past with other tablets and i always got the same tablet back with the same issues... but maybe you have more luck ? i hope

went back to the store and they are going to send it to samsung... thry said it could take up to 3 weeks for me to get it back

James could you post the link of the Godzilla trailer you're referring to & time frame of the problem? There are a number of trailers out there. I watched two trailers in 720p & don't have any issues.

The screen shots you posted earlier, I also can't see the issue.

Hey James ! I'm facing the same problem.... any dark scene in the movie . And there appears a green haze at the bottom of my tab s 8.4.. here are some screen shots
