Card reader problems

Hi

I'm going on a longish trip soon and am taking my cameras and bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 so that I could backup my photos from them.

To do this I've bought a MAXAH card reader which is compatible with my tablet.

But when trying to access the reader to copy the photos in Storage it is saying that the reader is corrupted.

I can get the reader to be recognised but only by formatting it/the card but obviously this will get rid of the photos!

All I want to do is copy the JPEG and RAW files from the SD card onto the tablets memory and also into OneDrive.

Any help would be appreciated.

Chris

Welcome to Android Central! I suggest using a microSD card with a full-size SD adapter to insert into your digital camera. Then when you want to transfer them to your tablet, you can remove the SD adapter from the camera, remove the microSD, then insert that into your tablet, which should be able to read it without difficulty.
