Samsung or android wear

I have had a Samsung gear 1 for almost a year now and the strap broke at the speaker/clasp, i priced out fixing it and its pretty much what a new one would cost so id like to get something new.


i wanna stick with Samsung but was thinking about the Samsung Android Wear instead or the Gear live


question is whats the better one software wise? Tizen OS or Android Wear OS?

If you don't mind charging everyday go with Android Wear.

I think Android Wear is the way to go but I had two hardware issues with my first Gear Live. Fortunately, Google replaced it for free after the second failure.

You'd think a manufacturer like Samsung with so many wearables under its belt would be capable of making robust hardware but no such luck.
