Why is Navigation not working on my Gear Live?

I just got my Gear Live few days ago. Whenever I ask my watch for directions, it pops up the little card saying the distance and time, but when I tap it to select the navigation arrow, it just closes. If I swipe right instead of tapping to select, I see a map of the area with points A and B, but no route marked. Tapping on this screen also causes screen to crash close.
Location and bluetooth are enabled on my phone. Set to high accuracy.

I had the same problem with the gear live I got last week. It did a system update last night and it works fine now. I am not sure what versions I had before but, now I have: Wear version 1.3.0.2160025 and Android 5.1.1
