Fully Charged (While Off) Turns On at 98% Battery Life?

I just fully charged the device, turned it on, and battery life is at 98%?

Why would that be?

I immediately turned it on and shut off the wake up gesture.

Also, how do I turn off the GPS?

A couple things.

1. The percentage is an estimate, not an exact calculation.
2. Starting up takes a bit of power and the battery is only 300 mAh, so if starting it uses more than 5-7 mAh, that's going to be your 2%.


GPS is Settings > Connections > Location
