Sounds like there might be some hardware issue involved. You are probably still in your warranty period, I would say talk to Samsung about it.

Thank you very much for the kind response. Hardware seems to be the problem, indeed.

However, curiously, have not found, online, anyone having a similar problem.

Any member who has experienced the same?
