I have a Galaxy S7 edge on Tmobile.

1) Is there anyway to decrease the 30 seconds to a minute it takes for forwarding to turn on after Bluetooth disconnect?

2) When forwarding, My S7 will still ring a bunch of times before the call is forwarded. Anyway for the call to go directly to the Gear S3?

Hmm..there should be a ring setting is my guess. I had the S2 for one day and received a call forwarded onto the watch. I don't recall the nbr of rings but I answered it from the watch on my way out from work.

Both features are controlled by the network, so outta luck there!

Are you sure? Seems like the first is a delay of the watch to save battery by not switching to LTE on every disconnect. The second appears to be a function of the network and the Gear software.

Either way, it makes call forwarding virtually unusable as the caller has to wait almost 10 rings before you pick up on your watch. Most people would hung up by then!

Yes you can change the time: Change the call forwarding delay time (5-30 seconds). For example, dialing **61*18056377249**12# would be for a 12-second delay. I think you can also call T-Mobile support and they can change it for you. Here is a link to a T-Mobile page with all their code information: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-4041

Thanks so much. I thought it was watch issue, like too slow or something. After using the watch for 3 weeks, that was the only thing that was bothering me. Everything else is perfect IMO. they should really advertise it more. Most my friends are apple fans and when i use the gear to pay in stores that don't have tap to pay and it still works they're blown away.

I spoke with the TMO tech rep and and she took care of it for me. But you need to keep in mind that if you turn your watch off, and you don't answer your phone within the lag time, the call will go to voicemail. So I had them lower the lag time to 10 seconds since I usually turn my watch off when I'm not wearing it. You can make the lag time anything between 5-30 seconds, whatever you're comfortable with.
