is official 2.1 update better than leaked 2.1?

hi i have my samsung moment and i rooted and installed the leaked 2.1 rom then updated to the DD10 version. is the current official update better than the leak update 2.1 i have had on my phone over a month now ?

1- will you lose root if you update to it ? have the y fixed alot of the bugs? even with the updated 2.1 leak their are alot of bugs on the phone

There is root available for the official version. Not as many bugs but some people still experience some.

ok thx so is thier a fix to the wifi on the momnet?

i tired to do wifi on the moment and it could not work. i prefer the wifi program i found for root users to the pdanet and other tehtering programs on the market

My wife said her battery is better with the official update.

Wifi tethering is not currently available for the moment. However as soon as we get the source code for it, it shouldnt take that long after.

I had dd03 from SDX , and besides battery life being somewhat better performance seems about the same.
