Contacts Question / Gmail Question

All of my contacts are showing up twice. Is there any way to get rid of this? Also I want to delete my gmail account that i set up n the gmail icon. How o i go about this?

I had contacts that showed up double. It seemed that if someone had 2 different emails or 2 or 3 different phone numbers, that there were separate entries for each. I just manually went through all my contacts (yes it takes a LONG time if you have a lot of items entered). But since I was in the hospital when my fiance got me the phone, I have plenty of time on my hands =)
I don't know about deleting your other gmail account tho.

When looking at my gmail contacts, I had the option of viewing duplicates.. Try doing that and merging/deleting them.. This was using Google via pc we browser.

how do you find your google contacts. I lost all my contacts somehow and cannot find them on my google account.

On your computer, they are listed on the left sidebar on your gmail account. You can sync those onto your phone by going on your phone to:
settings->data synchronization->check contacts. If it's already checked, uncheck it and check it again and that will start the sync.
