    I don't know if it's a bug or just my phone but since I've updated I've had issues with my lock button. It takes a few tries sometimes to get it to actually show the screen. Is there a way to allow all the other buttons to turn screen on?

    Thanks a bunch. That was gonna be my first guess but none of the forums seemed very clear as to if I could just install the update from ThundeROM and let it flash over it or if I had to return to stock first because unfortunately I believe I forgot to make an backup.

    I'm curious. I just flashed ThundeROM on 1.8.2 to my Optimus running V9. Can I just install VD with the updater without switching back to the stock ROM and keep my root access?

    I was starting to get tired of the stock setup. This is excellent and the black notification bar is a lot nicer to look at. Great job.

    I can get it to run the rageagainstthecage file but then it disconnects my device and will not reconnect. Any ideas?

    I had that same issue getting stuck at step 7. Try adb reboot recovery, select update.zip again, then reboot.
